Qualifications

The following are considerations for the Ambassador to consider when qualifying a business for membership with the DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce.

• 5 years or less in business
• Sole Proprietor, Partnership, of LLC
• 3 employees or less
• 1 location
• Managed by owners
• $20K annual revenue or less

Perceived Interests

The following are a list of interests we believe a Startup Business has in becoming a member of a Chamber of Commerce. This list is not exhaustive. However, it does inform the way we determine benefits for this level of membership.

Benefits

Based on the perceived interests of this membership level, the following benefits have been granted.

• Complimentary use of DAC office space for business meetings twice per year (as calendar permits)
• Referral for Mentorship by a DAC Emerging Enterprise or Corporation (by request)
• Preferred discount on DAC sponsored Business Development workshops/seminars
• Referral for two complimentary consultation per year (by request)
• Access to Community Sponsorship and Partnership Opportunities listings
• Framed certificate of membership
