Qualifications

The following are considerations for the Ambassador to consider when qualifying a business for membership with the DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce.

Must be recognized by the State of Texas or Federal government as a non-profit corporation

Perceived Interests

The following are a list of interests we believe a Startup Business has in becoming a member of a Chamber of Commerce. This list is not exhaustive. However, it does inform the way we determine benefits for this level of membership.

Benefits

Based on the perceived interests of this membership level, the following benefits have been granted.

• Use of DAC office space for business meetings twice per year (as calendar permits)
• Invitation to specialized seminars/workshops for Non-Profit organizations
• Preferred discount on DAC sponsored Business Development workshops/seminars
• Referral for one complimentary business consultation per year (by request)
• Access to list of potential community business event/project sponsors
• Framed certificate of membership
