Qualifications

The following are considerations for the Ambassador to consider when qualifying a business for membership with the DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce.

• More than 5 years in business
• Sole Proprietor, Partnership, of LLC
• 30 employees or less
• 2 locations or less
• Managed by owners
• $100K annual revenue or less

The following are a list of interests we believe a Micro-Enterprises (Small Businesses) has in becoming a member of a Chamber of Commerce. This list is not exhaustive. However, it does inform the way we determine benefits for this level of membership.

Benefits

Based on the perceived interests of this membership level, the following benefits have been granted.

• Complementary use of DAC office space for business meetings twice per year (as calendar permits)

• Preferred discount on DAC sponsored Business Development workshops/seminars
• Referral for one complimentary business consultation per year (by request)
• Access to list of funders and funding sources
• Member discounts at participating office services vendors
