Patrick Clarke

Patrick Clarke is a DeSoto resident who is passionate about community outreach and engagement. He joined Methodist Charlton Medical Center in February 2022 as the Director of Community and Public Relations. He quickly immersed himself in the local communities, highlighting all of the exciting things happening at Methodist Charlton. 

Clarke previously served as a senior spokesperson with the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a regular contributor on various news outlets during the unprecedented 2021 winter storm.

Before moving to North Texas, Clarke was a longtime journalist, working as a news writer and producer in New York City for networks like ABC and Fox News. He has helped produce several well-known shows, including ABC’s Good Morning America and 20/20.

Clarke was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and moved to Toronto, Canada, as a teenager. He enjoys taking long jogs around DeSoto while listening to the 4,000-plus songs in his music collection.

After graduating with honors from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and English, Clarke obtained his Master of Science in Journalism degree from Northwestern University.
