Smokey John’s Inks Partnership Deal with Joe V’s Smartshop

Oak Cliff natives and co-owners of the award-winning Smokey John’s BBQ, Brent and Juan Reaves, have signed an exclusive deal with the newly opened Joe V’s Smart Shop, a sister brand of HEB.

This partnership brings Smokey John’s BBQ Rub, BBQ Sauce, and their famous Banana Pudding to the grocery store’s shelves.

The Banana Pudding, a cherished family recipe from their grandmother, will now be available beyond their restaurant.

“Being that we’re from Oak Cliff, this is a full circle moment for our family and the Smokey John’s BBQ brand,” said Brent Reaves, Co-Owner of Smokey John’s BBQ.

“We’re excited to partner with Joe V’s in offering a selection of our signature items, but even more ecstatic to exclusively house our Grandmother’s banana pudding recipe at an establishment that has high quality food and principles. Through this partnership, we are able to give back to a neighborhood where we grew up, and that has meant so much to our entire family.”
