D&J Builders Surplus, a family-owned and operated business specializing in iron doors, has officially joined the DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce. The store opened in 2010 and is celebrating 14 years of serving the North Texas community, marking a significant milestone as the only Black-owned iron door retailer in the United States. Known for its high-quality craftsmanship and dedication to customer service, D&J Builders Surplus has become a go-to destination for homebuilders, contractors, and homeowners alike.

The DeSoto Development Corporation has partnered with the DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce and The DEC Network to offer comprehensive services for small businesses in all growth stages, from ideation to scaling.
